Coach Jose Peseiro has changed his starting lineup with Zaidu Sanusi out for Bright Osayi Samuel for the South Africa game.

Reports from camp say Zaidu Sanusi will miss tonight’s game after he skipped yesterday’s training with a knock.

Despite the personnel change, Peseiro sticks with his usual 3-4-3 system with some position shifts.

With Zaidu Sanusi out, Ola Aina will have to switch to the left while Bright plays from the right side.

The trio of Troost Ekong, Calvin Bassey, and Semi Ajayi will still hold the team’s defensive shape.

Elsewhere, the coach retains the midfield duo of Alex Iwobi and Frank Onyeka to anchor the midfield.

Team leading scorer Ademola Lookman will operate on the wings alongside Moses Simon to support the striker.

Lookman has scored three goals for the Super Eagles at the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire so far.

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen will lead the attack after experiencing stomach discomfort early in the week.

Team doctors declared him fit for the game after close examinations.
