Eric Chelle held the first training session as a Super Eagles coach on Tuesday in Rwanda with only one player expected.
The first training by Chelle was a closed-door session, and the federation shared a video of the training.

According to the video shared by the NFF media, the players were undergoing a light workout and passing drills..
22 players are now in the Super Eagles camp in Kigali for Friday’s showdown in the 2026 World Cup qualifier.
Nine more players arrived at the Radisson Blu Hotel camp of the Eagles with Sadiq Umar’s arrival on the morning of Tuesday, making it 22 players.

The last player expected to complete the squad, Alhassan, arrived on Wednesday morning to make it a full house.
All 23 players are available for the second training session today.
Furthermore, Nigeria will confront group C leaders Rwanda in Kigali on Friday, 21st March.
Four days later, the Eagles will take on Zimbabwe’s Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
Meanwhile, Nigeria is second to the bottom of Group C with 3 points and 4 points off leaders, Rwanda.
The Super Eagles will need victories in both games to put their World Cup qualification back on track.
