Alex Iwobi, 11 other players have arrived in Akwa Ibom ahead of the Nigeria vs Rwanda World Cup Qualifier.
The Super Eagles will play Rwanda and South Africa to revive their faltering qualification hopes. A win in the two crucial games is important, as Nigeria is ranked fourth in Group A with seven points.

In the morning, nine players arrived at the Ikot Ikpenne camp. They are:

Also, the team conducted the first training session before goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali joined the camp in the evening.
They join the quartet of William Troost-Ekong, Amas Obasogie, Felix Agu, and Raphael Onyedika, who landed on Monday.
Meanwhile, 16 players are in camp as they await Samuel Chukwueze, Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Adeleye Adebayo, Chrisanthus Uche, Cyriel Dessers, and Tolu Arokodare.
After the Rwanda game, Nigeria will fly to Bloemfontein on Tuesday, September 9th, to confront South Africa in a potentially explosive Matchday 8 encounter.
South Africa tops the group with 13 points and awaits a decision on a potential three-point deduction for fielding an ineligible player.
The Bafana Bafana will play Lesotho before taking on Nigeria.
