Nigeria Collapse From 4 Goals Lead To Draw Against Sierra Leone In AFCON Qualifier
Nigeria surrendered a 4-0 lead to play out a 4-4 result in their AFCON2021 qualifier against Sierra Leone.
The first half started well with the super Eagles already leading 4 nil by the 27th minute.

Iwobi open scoring in the 4th minute with a shot off a cut back from Zaidu.
Osimhen extended the lead in the 24th minute after connecting a pin point cross from Zaidu Sanusi on the left.

Three minutes later Iwobi made it a brace with a sensational strike from the edge of the box.
the shot left the goalkeeper rooted on the spot to make it 3-0.
Samuel Chukwueze turned a Sierra Leonean defender in and out before sending the ball to the roof of the net for 4-0.
The Come Back
The Leone Stars found their way into the game towards the end of the first half and that domination resulted in a goal.
Kwame Quee was left unmarked in the Nigerian area and he calmly slot past an on-rushing Okoye.
The second half was a dull affair filled with misplaced passes and lack of coordination from both sides.
Sierra Leone got a rear chance to go forward and that led to a second goal from Al-Hadji Kamara.
Kamara found himself free in-between a ball watching Semi ajayi and Maduka in goal to nod home.
Furthermore, The goal inspired Sierra Leone to go for more and they got it.
A shot from the edge of the box from Mustapha Bundu beat a hapless Maduka in goal to make it 4-3.
Sierra Leone completed the comeback courtesy of a comedy of errors from the Eagles defence.
Furthermore, Nigeria still top the Group L of their African Cup of Nations, AFCON Qualifiers with seven points from three games, and will travel to play Sierra Leone at the Siaka Stevens Stadium on Tuesday.
