Super Eagles Duo Score First League Goal Of The Season In Spain And England


Fulham defender, Ola Aina, Monday night, scored his first Premier League goal in their 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.

The Nigeria international got his team’s second goal on 30 minutes, with an absolute rocket hitting the roof of the net, following an assist from Aleksandar Mitrović.

The win at Craven Cottage is Fulham’s first of the 2020-2021 Premier League season, which moves them from basement to 17th position in the standings with four points.

It was Aina’s fourth appearance for Fulham following his loan arrival from Serie A side, Torino on September 10.

Also in Spain, Super Eagles attacker, Samuel Chukwueze scored his first La Liga goal in almost a year as his club, Villareal defeated Valladolid 2-0 on Monday.


Chukwueze scored in the 21st minute of the first half to put his side ahead with a left-footed strike off Pedraza’s assist at the Estadio de la Cerámica, Villarreal.

The goal ended Chukwueze’s La Liga goal drought for his Club. The last time he scored in Spain’s top flight was in November 2019 during his side’s 3-1 home defeat to Celta Vigo.


Pau Torres scored the second goal of the game for Villarreal in the 37th minute to seal the victory for the Yellow Submarines.

Chukwueze saw 64 minutes of action before he was replaced by Takefusa Kubo.
