The 100m Men and women also yielded good fruits that Nigerians hope become a medal.

Favor Ashe, Godson Brume, and African Games champion, Raymond Ekevwo booked a place in the 100m men’s semi-final. Brume will run in Semi-final one, against South Africa’s Akani Simbine Ashe in semi-final two featuring Africa’s fastest man, Ferdinand Omanyala, and Raymond in semi-final three.
