Stanley Nwabali’s availability is the biggest news for the Nigeria Vs Angola AFCON quarter-final game as Jose Peseiro sticks with the starting 11 from the Cameroon game.

After picking an injury against Cameroon, there were fears of Nwabali returning to fitness for the quarterfinal game.

Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro is keeping faith with the 3-4-3 system for the fourth game running.

Captain William Troost Ekong will anchor the team’s defense that has only conceded one goal in four matches so far.

The Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey duo join Troost-Ekong in a three-player defense for the Eagles.

Frank Onyeka and Alex Iwobi remain in midfield, while Yusuf Alhassan is still out of the team.

Ola Aina and Zaidu Sanusi would drive the team forward as right and left wingbacks.

Victor Osimhen is the top striker to lead the attack as Jose Peseiro hopes to defend and attack with 11 players.

Moses Simon will be playing from the right-hand side of the Super Eagles attack.

Meanwhile, Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman will play from the left side of the attack.
