Libya is holding Super Eagles hostage at the Abraq airport after their aircraft was diverted a few minutes before landing in the scheduled city (Benghazi) that will host the return leg match between Libya and Nigeria.
They will now travel by road to Benghazi, the location for the return fixture, which is about a 3-hour, 24-minute drive.

According to a source, the team has an advance party waiting in Benghazi as all arrangements are there.
As the pilot approaches Benghazi, the Libyan authorities insist on a diversion to Abraq airport. The pilot protested the decision, but to avoid running out of fuel, he had to land at Abraq. S
Sadly, there’s no way to communicate with the people in Benghazi with the advance party.
