The Nigeria women’s national football team, the Super Falcons, has announced their latest squad against France Friendly, with defender Ashleigh Plumptre making a return to the team.
Super Falcons head coach, Justine Madugu expressed his delight at Plumptre’s return, stating, “Ashleigh is a talented player who brings a lot of experience and quality to our team. We’re excited to have her back.”
Madugu also explained the absence of Asisat Oshoala and Rashidat Ajibade, saying, “Asisat and Rashidat are both key players for us, but unfortunately, they’re unavailable for this round of matches due to injury and personal reasons respectively.”
The Super Falcons will face off against Les Bleues of France in the upcoming international friendly matches on Saturday
All the invited players will fly directly to France for the match, to be joined by the coaching crew and backroom staff.
