The Flying Antelopes had a remarkable campaign, accumulating a record-breaking 79 points from 42 Matches.
The 42 matches combine all games in the 2024 calendar year including the 23/24 and the ongoing 24/25 season.
According to data from Opta Nigeria, Rangers FC dominated the NPFL statistics, boasting the most wins (23), best goal difference (25), and highest points-per-game average (1.88). They also conceded the fewest goals per game (0.67) and recorded the best win percentage (0.55).
Additionally, the Enugu-based team had the fewest losses per game (0.21), demonstrating their consistency and resilience throughout the season.
The unstoppable Antelopes also won the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title after defeating Bendel Insurance of Benin.
Following Rangers closely on the table is Shooting Stars of Ibadan who have a similar 23 wins in 42 games.
Shooting Stars last won the league in 1998 and aimed for a top-three finish last season, but they fell short on the last day.
The Oluyole Warriors amassed seven draws and 12 losses to finish with 76 points, three short of the Rangers
Remo Stars completes the top three with 22 wins, 6 draws, and 13 losses in 41 matches to amass 72 points.
