The newly appointed G.M/CEO of Enugu Rangers F.C, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku is seeking to make the club become a truly professional outfit.
Amobi made the pledge in Enugu, on Thursday after rolling out the clubās strategic plans for the period 2023ā2027 at an interactive media session.
Ezeaku, while reeling out the plans says he wants to make the club the most admired and most followed sports institution in Africa, explained that the plans define the club’s present and future achievable aims.
āThe plans will be achieved through three standing which the club called āRangers Trinityā of C, S, & C.
What is Plan C, S, & CĀ
āThe first āCā stands for Commercial Development. The āSā stands for Sporting Excellence and the last āCā stands for Community Social Impact.
The management has to think big globally and digitally in order to foster or strengthen what the club history and identity means to the people,ā said the UEFA and FIFA Master certificated football club manager.
He further stated, āThe club lines of strategy are the C.S.C, Brand Positioning, Prudent Financial Management and Sustainability.
Under Commercial Development, we shall embark on a massive sponsorship drive, and establish commercial partnerships internally and externally. Announce a Jersey sponsor, and make available club wear and merchandise for purchase. We believe this strategic plan must be measurable and achievable.ā
The former team manager of the club further said, āWe have set a Target to sell at least twenty thousand replica Jerseys each season and under Sporting Excellence we have the target to win one of either league of Federation Cup.ā

Furthermore Amobi reveals that the Management’s take off point is humility and leadership as the club remains one of the historic sporting institutions in the country.
āThat is why the club is considered and known to be a movement of the people and its badge is recognized in Africa and the world. We want to change the club landscape through commercial development and innovation and the target set out in the strategic plan is a very ambitious one.
The management wants to ensure professionalism in the way the club is been run through its sporting results, and bond with members of supporterās club and Community.
“Under our strategic target for Community Social Impact, we are going to take Rangers back to the people. The club belongs to them.ā
