With the first fixture of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers scheduled for Thursday, 16th November, the Super Eagles camp in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state has been set alive.
On Monday, Kenneth Omeruo, Jamilu Collins and Sadiq Umar were the first players to set feet into the camp. A day before, the Super Eagles technical crew, led by Jose Peseiro had arrived the camp in anticipation of the players.
Sodiq Umar, Jamilu Collins and Kenneth Omeruo are the early birds that arrived today as @NGSuperEagles camp open.
Omeruo was last in the super eagles colours in June 2023.

The other invited players are expected to be in camp by the Tuesday as the team is scheduled to have a full squad training by Tuesday evening while Kenneth, Jamilu and Sadiq are are to hit gym later today.
Meanwhile, Thursday’s opponents, the Crocodiles of Lesotho have arrived Lagos and is expected to be in Uyo, venue of the game on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles will only be assessible to the media for the first minutes of the full training tomorrow. The Super Eagles face Lesotho on Thursday, 16th November at 4pm. after which they face Zimbabwe three days later.
