Two-time champion of the NPFL, Kenedy Boboye is back in the dugout, and this time he is teaming up with Heartland FC who are in search of a lifeline.
Nine matchdays into the season and it’s obvious the NNL champions are battling relegation.
Boboye will be replacing former international, Christian Obi after his announcement.
For industry watchers, Boboye has been out for too long, looking at his pedigree as a league winner.
His last job was with Akwa United, where he won the league for the second time.
Unlike previous occasions, Boboye will be coming to save a drowning Naze millionaire, and the last time he was on a rescue mission at Remo Stars, it didn’t end well.
If not on a rescue mission, Boboye is a league title challenger every season.

Also, Akwa United ended the Unbeaten run when he was at Plateau in week 8.
He replaces erstwhile coach, Christian Obi who until the development failed to win a game from the opening nine matches of the season.
Boboye who has signed a one-year renewable contract with the Naze Millionaires is in Owerri with an impeccable record of winning the league title twice with Plateau United (2017) and Akwa United (2021). an official release from Heartland reads.
