From flying without wings in the first ten games of the season, keeping clean sheets, and showing why their debut season was exciting, to barely staying out of the relegation zone, Doma United’s Dilemma has come full circle.
Currently, Doma is 18th on the table, with a game in hand before the last game of the season.
The two teams above Doma in the relegation battle are two and three points ahead of them, but the goal difference will likely hold the ace.
Doma’s dilemma is in the number of goals difference during their good run as they averaged 1.72 goals per game, leaving them in the last position on the goals table. In 35 games, Doma has 25 goals while conceding 40 goals.
Before crapping a 1-0 win over Lobi Stars on MD34, Doma didn’t record a home win in seven games(since January 6th when they beat Katsina United 2-0), out of which were five draws and two losses(Shooting Stars and Rangers) at home.
Overall they have only won two games in 15 matches since January 6th.

Doma were unbeaten in 9 straight games, keeping clean sheets in all Nine with the last goal coming on matchday four’s 3-1 loss to Shooting Stars in Ibadan.

Doma United has two games that will come as two finals to retain their NPFL status.
A win in both games and results from relegation strugglers going their way will be enough to get them out of the dilemma.
