Super Eagles prospect Chrisantus Uche will most likely leave Spanish club Getafe after just one season, with several Premier League clubs on his trail.
The report has it that the young midfielder may be heading for Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea reportedly in contact with Getafe, which will see him join the Nigerian legion in the English top flight.
Uche was plying his trade in the Spanish lower leagues a few seasons ago.

On Saturday, A UK tabloid, Transfer News Live, wrote that the Blues and several other Premier Leagues are currently in a race for the youngster.
“Chelsea, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, and Newcastle are all interested in signing Getafe midfielder Chrisantus Uche,” the outlet wrote on X.
The young midfielder, who is currently basking in fame at Getafe, where fans love him, has been tipped to leave the club in the upcoming transfer window.
Uche penned a four-year deal with the Deep Blue Ones to join them from Spanish third-tier side Ceuta for a meager €500,000, with the option of a further 12 months.
Meanwhile, speculations are rife that his future with the modest La Liga outfit is in the balance due to his top-draw performances for the club.
Despite making his league debut just a few months ago, the Nigerian has become one of the most outstanding players of the new campaign.
A defensive midfielder by trade, the 21-year-old, due to his skills quick feet, and eye for goals. Jose Bordalas often deploys him up front and the move has produced goals.
Furthermore, Uche has earned a prominent place in the Madrid club’s squad and is already considered one of the season’s biggest revelations.
In September, Getafe placed a high transfer fee of over €10m on the versatile player, which a club like Chelsea and other EPL suitors will have no problem paying.
