Montpellier coach Frederic Mendy has praised Nigerian forward Ifeoma Onumonu, who continued her impressive scoring streak in the Première Ligue, Féminine.
Onumonu scored for the fifth game in a row, but her team Montpellier fell to a 4:2 disappointing league defeat away at Dijon.

Onumonu’s goal-scoring streak continued on November 30 at the Women’s international friendly match, when she scored against France in a 2-1 Loss.
She also scored against Dijon despite Montpellier’s loss, Onumonu’s performance was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing match for the team.
The 28-year-old forward has been playing alongside other talented players like Soufiya Ngueleu, Dona Scannapieco, and Sh’nia Gordan, and her goals have been crucial in keeping Montpellier competitive in the league.
