Enyimba head coach, Stanley Eguma has declared that his team is ready for Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup encounter against Al Masry of Egypt.
The nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions will entertain Al Masry at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Enyimba must win the Group D encounter to have any chance of earning a spot in the quarter-finals.
Eguma, who recently took charge of the Aba Giants mentioned that his team is in fine shape ahead of the game.
“This game is a different ball game, compared to the one we played last week, we want to assure that Enyimba football club is ready, they have shown positivity, and We are beginning to get our rhythm”.
He continued that the Football club must take all chances to take home victory.
“This game is very important to us, we must take all our chances, we’re not giving up by now because the group is still opened for quarter finals qualification”.
I want to assure Nigerians that we would not let them down we would try our best to win and forge ahead in the competition” He added.
Also, Enyimba striker Brown Ideye, called for support to record victory in the must-win match.
Ideye who has scored two goals in three games for Enyimba also pledged to score goals for the team.
“My job as a striker is to score goals, with the support of the team and everyone giving an 120% for the club and players we would do our best to record victory“.
Zamalek leads the group with eight points, trailed by compatriots Al-Masry who have five points.
Enyimba is level on four points with the Black Bulls.
