Team Nigeria World Athletics will kick off their campaign at the inaugural Ultimate Championships in Budapest, with the 4x100m mixed relay team competing directly in the final.
Nigeria has a pool including Favour Ashe, Miracle Ezechukwu, and Udodi Onwuzurike, among others, available for selection.
Tobi Amusan is listed for the 4x100m mixed relay, but her event, the 100m hurdles, is also listed for the same day.

Ella Onojuvwevwo will be the first Nigerian individual on the blocks and is in Heat 1 of the women’s 400m semifinal at the World Athletics Ultimate Championships in Budapest.
She will compete against Marileidy Paulino, Salwa Eid Naser, and Nickisha Pryce of Jamaica as she looks to secure a spot in the final. The first 4 in both heats qualify for the final.

Subsequently, Tobi Amusan will compete in the women’s 100mH semifinal at the World Ultimate Championships in Budapest.
She will compete against Devynne Charlton, Danielle Williams, Alia Armstrong & Keni Harrison.
If she makes the Final, she will also be running the final on the same day.

Day two will feature Kanyinsola Ajayi in the men’s 100m semi-final heat 2, lane 4. He will compete against Commonwealth Games Champion Emmanuel Eseme, Kenny Bednarek and South Africa’s Akani Simbine.
Kanyinsola is the 4th-fastest in the world coming into the Ultimate Championships, behind Oblique Seville (1), Noah Lyles (2), and Kenny Bednarek(3).
Also on Day Two, Ezekiel Nathaniel will compete in heat two, lane 7 of the men’s 400m hurdles.
Ezekiel is the 3rd-fastest in the world behind Brazil’s Alison Dos Santos and Norway’s Karsten Warholm.
