The total Team Nigeria prize money reached $130,000 across five events following the conclusion of the World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest.
Tobi Amusan recorded the highest placing among the Nigerian contingent, making her the country’s best-performing athlete at this year’s championships.

Tobi Amusan finished 2nd in the women’s 100mH final at the World Ultimate Championship in Budapest.
She clocked 12.34s, behind Masai Russell, who won in 12.22s. The silver medal earns Amusan $75,000 in prize money for her runner-up finish.
Following Amusan closely is Ajayi Kanyinsola, who missed bronze by 0.004s, finishing 4th in the men’s 100m final at the World Ultimate Championship, clocking an identical 9.93s with Ronnie Baker (3rd).
Kanyinsola earned $25,000 as prize money for finishing 4th.

Udodi Onwuzurike finished 8th in the men’s 200m final at the World Ultimate Championships, clocking 20.45s. The effort earns him $10,000.
Finally, Ella Onojuvwevwo was the only Nigerian who didn’t make the final of her event, dropping out in the 200m semi-final.
Despite missing the final, she earned $6,000 for ranking 12th in the women’s 200m.
