The March players’ value update by Transfermarkt has shown an increase in Daniel Daga’s market value following his debut in European competition earlier this February.
The well-known football statistics and transfer market website, Transfermarkt, updated the player valuations in the Eliteserien, the premier division of Norwegian football.
Daniel Daga’s Value Over The Years
Daga’s value is now at 400,000 euros, approximately N679 million, showing his rise in the sport.
Daga’s first entry into the Transfer Markt Value rating was 150,000 Euros at age 16 while playing for Dakada in Nigeria’s second-tier league, NNL.
His value remained the same after a loan move to the Premier division, NPFL with Enyimba(from One Rocket).
While at Enyimba, Daniel Daga’s value took a nosedive to less than 100,000 euros before moving to Molde.
The new update released on April 3rd moved him to 400,000 euros.
Daga’s Debut In Europe
Daga’s debut was as a substitute for Molde FK on February 20, 2025, playing the last 25 minutes against Ireland’s Shamrock Rovers in the UEFA Conference League.
In a thrilling climax to the match, he successfully converted a penalty in the ensuing shootout, showcasing his composure under pressure.
At just 18 years old, Daga is regarded as one of the most gifted young talents in Nigeria.
The midfielder completed his transfer to Molde from FC One Rocket, switching from his loan period at Enyimba during the January transfer window.
Daga’s second appearance for Molde also came in the UEFA Conference League, where he competed against Legia Warsaw last month.
He was an unused substitute for Molde’s opening match of the Eliteserien season.
In a remarkable performance for Molde’s reserve team in the Norsk Tipping-Ligaen avdeling 2, Daga made a significant impact by providing two assists in a match that ended in a 4-2 defeat to Nardo FK, underlining his potential as a valuable playmaker.
Before finalizing his transfer to Molde during the winter transfer window, Daga had the opportunity to train and play for the Flying Eagles, further honing his skills and preparing for his professional career in Norway.
