For NPFL clubs betting is king when it comes to front of shirt sponsorships but how does this impact the brands? Nine-Times NPFL Champions, Enyimba recently signed a multi-year deal with Australian Betting and Crypto Company, Stake. The deal brings to seven the number of NPFL front of shirt sponsorship deals so far. Out of the seven clubs, four of the sponsorships are Betting brands. Taiwo Awoniyi has equalled the record of Mohamed Salah and Emmanuel Adebayor as the Africans with the longest Premier League scoring run after scoring as early as the second minute to put Nottingham Forest 1-0 ahead against Manchester United at Old Trafford. A panel of the Disciplinary Tribunal, by majority decision, found that Tobi Amusan has not committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) of three Whereabouts Failures within 12 months. Amusan’s provisional suspension has now been lifted with immediate effect. According to reports, two of the whereabouts violations were struck out by an independent committee.
