Rinsola Babajide has been named in Nigeria’s 22-woman roster for the Paris 2024 Olympics qualifying match against Ethiopia this month.
It is the Tenerife star’s first senior call-up after switching her allegiance from England to the Super Falcons.

Rinsola Babajide: Already At Home With Falcons Stars
Per reports from Samuel Ahmedu, Rinsola will be joining the Falcons for the doubleheader against Ethiopia.
The 25-year-old former Liverpool star plays alongside two Super Falcons stars at the club level in Spain.
Monday Gift and Esther Okonkwo share the same club, UD Tenerife in the La Liga Iberdrola with Rinsola Babajide.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defender Osinachi Ohale, and forward Asisat Oshoala headline a list of 22 players invited to the Super Falcons’ camp for this month’s Paris 2024 Women Olympic Football Tournament qualification fixture against the Senior Women National Team of Ethiopia.
Ethiopia will host the first leg of the second-round fixture in Addis Ababa on Wednesday, 25th October. The second leg will be in Nigeria on Tuesday, 31st October.
Ethiopia beat Chad in the first round of the series as nine-time African champions Nigeria drew a bye.
Furthermore, Paris, France will host next year’s Women’s Olympic Football Tournament. The Super Falcons played at the Olympics in 2000, 2004, and 2008.
