Jose Peseiro made two changes to Nigeria’s lineup for the 2023 AFCON final match against Cote d’Ivoire.
Samuel Chukwueze and Zaidu Sanusi will start and replace Bright Osayi and Moses Simon from the semi-final lineup.
Zaidu will maintain his place from the left-wing back while Ola Aina returns to the right-wing back position.
The Porto defender missed the semi-final game against South Africa due to an injury.
Chukwueze will replace the impressive Moses Simon in on the flanks alongside Ademola Lookman.
The two wingers will provide support upfront for the team’s talisman, Victor Osimhen in the final game.
The Super Eagles will be lining up in a 3-4-2-1 system in the final, similar to the same from the group stage encounter between both sides.
William Troost Ekong captains the side for the final at the Alhassan Ouatarra Stadium, Ebimpe.
When both sides met at the group stage, Nigeria emerged 1-0 winners with Troost-Ekong converting a penalty.
