Following a successful medical, Mahanaim FC striker, Joel Yakubu has completed a 3-year deal with the Czech Republic Premier League side, Slovan Liberec.
Mahanaim FC sealed Yakubu’s deal after the successful transfer of Yahaya Danjuma Lawali to MFK Karvina.

Yakubu, 18, popularly called ‘Spirit’, is known for his incredible talent in the middle of the park which attracted Slovan Liberec.
Yakubu’s development with Mahanaim has been tremendous over the years, and Manhanaim is delighted the world will see his talent.

Former Golden Eaglets assistant captain, Yahaya was the first Manahaim star to move after completing the deal with MFK Karvina.
The 18-year-old signed a four-year deal with the Czech Republic’s top team, MFK Karvina.

Despite missing the U17 World Cup, Yahaya’s development has been down to Mahanaim’s patient plan.
Yahaya and the 2023 U17 class lost out at the U17 AFCON quarterfinals making them miss the World Cup.

Meanwhile, after signing his first professional contract, Yahaya requested patience in his new challenge.
