“Any category we meet the Ghanaian team is always tough, but we are prepared, we pray for luck, we are going to strategies to win”
“I would like to work hard and select the best team in the list we had to face Ghana come December, we know how tough it is to play against a Ghanaian team, congratulations to Nigeria flying Eagles yesterday, it was a tough one as well”
The Super Eagles B team consists of players from NPFL clubs, and are training hard to improve their skills and strategies before facing Ghana. The two teams are in the same regional zone for the CHAN qualifiers, promising fierce competition.

Meanwhile, the CHAN tournament will feature players from domestic leagues across Africa and will be held in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda from January to February 2025.
Also, Eguavoen made known that the team is full of quality players.
“So far, we have very impressive training, technically, they are very good. Although we still have lot of work to do. We have to see how we can blend them, and make them one team, one unit. We have enough time to do that”.
“After this first training session, the players will return to their clubs for matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this weekend. They will return next week to continue their preparations for the upcoming match against Ghana”.

Meanwhile, Eguavoen aims to keep the team’s momentum going and ensure the players are fit and ready for what is set to be an exciting clash.
“This rivalry is not just about football. It reflects a deeper cultural competition between Nigeria and Ghana”.
