Nigerian Midfielder, Alex Iwobi is towing a new path with the shift to music releasing a new single.

The Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi dropped a new single titled What’s Luv? with a video which features British Mbrown and produced by creative agency SPEAKS ABOUT IT.

Iwobi who raps on the single gave a good delivery with his suave lyrics, which did justice to the beat of the soft tempo song.

This is the second single from the former Arsenal player and his Alex Iwobi Project -17 media initiative. Iwobi has previously in June dropped his first musical single an inspirational song titled ‘Don’t Shoot’ with the same producer, and featured footballers, Don-EE (Medy Elito) and Scoli (Chuba Akpom).

Iwobi is towing the same path as his Uncle, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha who released a single titled ‘I am Jay Jay Okocha’, during his time with German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in 1994.

However, the Legendary Nigerian Football Star may want to forget the song in a hurry as it wasn’t a successful venture according to a few critics, despite the high tempo beat accompanying the discotheque-inspired music.

With Iwobi’s foray into the music world, it is clear the 82 caps Super Eagles player would be more successful than his Uncle in the music industry, as his rich lyrical skills coupled with his good grim vocals would suit the British rap musical scene.
