LSU Track & Field’s Tima Godbless goes 10.91 (+1.2) in the 100 meters at the NCAA Track and Field DI Outdoor Championships First Round to move up to No. 2 on the all-time chart.
She is the fastest woman so far in the world this year.

The time is her personal Best (PB) and she hit it in the first heat of the women’s 100m at the NCAA East Prelims in Florida.
She broke 11 seconds for the first time in her career, beating Joella Lloyd (FSU), to 2nd in 11.10s.
With her performance, she becomes the all-time 4th fastest Nigerian woman, only behind Blessing Okagbare, Rosemary Chukwuma, and Glory Alozie.

Tima’s previous best was 11.03, run on May 25, 2024, at the NCAA DI outdoor Championships – East first-rounds.
She has already qualified for the 2025 world championships in the 100m and 200m.
Furthermore, the 10.91 time pushes her onto the leaderboard of the fastest woman in Nigeria for 2025.
Tima is ahead of Favor Ofili (11.06) in second and Olayinka Olajide (11.15) in third.
Also, Success Umukoro – 11.25s and Rejoice Sule – 11.26s make up the top five of the top Nigerian women 100m runners.
