Mahanaim FC has announced the transfer of striker Aliyu Imran to the Czech Republic club SK Prostejov.
Imran, 19, signed a 3-year contract with the Czech second division club after an impressive familiarisation period.
The 1.96m Kaduna-born goal poacher is a thoroughbred Mahanaim product whose ability to learn and understudy senior players at the club became a major asset.

His unique fighting spirit, pace and power, intelligence, and goalscoring prowess attracted SK Prostejov to him during Mahanaim FC’s 2024 annual scouting event in Abuja.
He further proved himself a great ambassador of the club during his familiarization period in the Czech Republic.
He narrated his excitement at completing his transfer to SK Prostejov from Mahanaim FC as a dream come true.

“This is a dream come true for me. I can’t describe how I feel. I thank everyone who has contributed to my development to this stage. Most especially our Sports Director, a man who is like a father figure to me.
“I thank all my coaches, staff and teammates at Mahanaim FC. I’m very happy in SK Prostejov and I thank everyone here for how they’ve received me and help since i got here. It’s a wonderful club,” Imran said.

Director of Media, Mahanaim FC, Mr Olaoluwa Aro, also speaks highly of Imran; “Imran is a good kid. Very resilient, patient, and responsible.
We are all very happy about this transfer. On behalf of everyone in this club, I wish him all the best of luck in his professional career,” Olaoluwa enthused.
Aliyu Imran had a scoring ratio of 1.3 goals per game during his time in the senior team of Mahanaim FC.
