Osimhen opened the scoring with a close-range header past the Ajax goalkeeper in the 59th minute.
Later, he then added two goals from the penalty spot in the 66th and 78th minutes, both resulting from VAR-awarded handballs, confirming Galatasaray’s third successive European win.
The win places Galatasaray in 9th position on the UCL table with nine points, three behind leaders Bayern Munich.

With six goals in three matches, Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen currently leads the UEFA Champions League scoring chart.
Furthermore, he’s now scored 12 goals in his last eight European games for Galatasaray.
Osimhen becomes the second Nigerian player to score a UCL hat-trick, joining Yakubu Ayegbeni (2002). For Gala, He is only the second player in the club’s history to score a UCL hat-trick, after Burak Yilmaz (2012).
