The Nigerian sensation’s first- and second-serve wins made all the difference in the US Open second-round match-up.

Seun won 68 points to Roussel’s 51 points, showing his dominance in the game. Also, his 65% (41/63) first-serve-in rate, with a 66% (27/41) win-on-first-serve rate, were crucial in the win.

He defeated Felix Roussel, the No. 1 seed in the US Open Junior Tennis Championship qualifying round, to seal his spot in the Main Draw.

The win is exemplary as he went up against a player who was miles ahead of him in the junior and world rankings and was the top seed in the qualifying round.

In the first round, Seun defeated Poland’s Tymon Litwic 6-3, 6-0 to secure a berth in the final round.

US-based Christopher Bulus was on the ground to cheer him up before, during, and after the win.
