Lookman made it 3-0 in the 43rd minute when he latched onto a through ball, deftly rounded goalkeeper Marco Silvestri, and put the ball into the empty net.
Lookman got his second shortly after the break, gliding onto a through ball from Marten de Roon after evading the offside trap and firing an angled shot past Silvestri following some neat footwork.
Now with 35 goals, Ademola Lookman becomes the 2nd-highest Nigerian Serie A scorer, behind Victor Osimhen with 65 goals.
Lookman has 12 goals and five assists in 20 Serie A games (18 starts) this season.
Also, Ademola Lookman, 12 goals in the current league season, is the first player to score more than 10 goals in each of the last three Serie A campaigns (since 2022/23), according to Opta Paolo.
The performance is coming on the heels of an altercation where his coach, Giasperini attacked him for missing a penalty in the UEFA Champions League.
