Abuja-based non-league side, Mahanaim FC, has announced the transfer of talented left-back Sokoato Samuel Aibe to Czech Republic top-division side SK Sigma Olomouc in a direct deal.
The 18-year-old Sokoato Samuel is a home-grown talent of Mahanaim FC, nurtured in the Club’s football and human development philosophy, after he was scouted some years ago in Kaduna.

Sokoato’s sensational physical strength, courage, intelligence, and technical abilities are some of the attributes that attracted the Olomouc-based Czech giants to him.
“I give thanks to God for giving me the grace to be here. I want to thank my family, mum, dad and my siblings for their support towards my career,” Sokoato said.
“I’m very grateful to Mahanaim FC for everything. The lessons, training, and discipline instilled in me are what have helped me,” he noted.

Sigma, who are UEFA Conference League campaigners this season, also has a Mahanaim FC graduate, Ahmad Ghali, on its payroll, a role model whom Sokoato Aibe can look up to at the club.
Ghali, a former Nigerian U20 player, joined Sigma Olomouc on a three-year deal from Slovan Liberec in September 2025.
