A unique partnership between Mahanaim FC and Al Masihas gave birth to an 18-year old, Edward Jassy, stepping into his dream of becoming a professional footballer after signing a 3-year contract with SK Sigma Olomouc.
Depending on performance and development, the deal comes with an option for another year with SK Sigma Olomouc.
Mahanaim FC announced that the successful collaboration with Al Masy FC has earned skilful winger Edward Jassy a professional contract with SK Sigma Olomouc in the Czech Republic.

The COLLABORATION
While Edward moves to the Czech Republic as a player from Al Masi, Mahanaim FC takes credit for his youth development days in Abuja, where he was groomed to become the player he is today under the tutelage of coach Lawal Dankoli and his team.

Edward Jassy Attributes
Edward can play on either side of the attack as a winger. He is a nimble-footed player who can take on any defenders. His quick decision-making ability makes him a dangerous opponent.
This collaboration has catapulted the highly rated prodigy into the heart of Europe, where he will expectantly continue his development and become a future star.

LEGACY
Meanwhile, Edward becomes the third Mahanaim FC player at Sigma Olomouc, joins Samuel Sokoato, who recently signed for Sigma, and Ahmad Ghali, an ex-Mahanaim player who is already an established first-team player of the club.
Edward’s move and the rising number of Manhanaim FC players at Sigma also signal an unwritten partnership brewing between the two teams.
